Which formats are supported?
You can add JPG, PNG and WebP images and export JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC photos have their own converter because they need a special decoder.
Does converting to JPG remove transparency?
Yes. JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas become white. Use PNG or WebP if you need to keep a transparent background.
Can I resize while converting?
Set a maximum width and the tool scales the image down without enlarging it. Height follows the original aspect ratio.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Each image is decoded, drawn to a canvas and re-encoded in your browser. Nothing is sent to simplytools.us or a third party.
Why is the output quality lower?
JPG and WebP are lossy at most quality settings. Raise the quality slider for a larger, cleaner file, or choose PNG for lossless output.
