Good to know
The result is a guide, not a guarantee.
This calculator runs entirely in your browser. Check the assumptions, keep the inputs realistic, and use the result as a starting point for a decision.
Generated locally in the browser. The destination is not checked or hosted by simplytools.us.
What can I put in a QR code?
Short text, a website URL, contact details or Wi-Fi configuration. The scanner opens or displays whatever the code contains, so keep the content concise and test it first.
Which error-correction level should I choose?
Medium is a good default. Higher levels survive more damage but make the pattern denser and may not fit long text. Low is best for very long content.
Do I need a quiet zone?
Yes. The blank margin around the code helps scanners find it. Two modules is a practical default; keep at least four when printing near other graphics.
Are the QR codes permanent?
The code itself does not expire, but the destination can. Nothing is stored on simplytools.us, so keep the PNG or SVG if you need it later.
